It’s pre-christmas celebration and we had a party with a group of frens just hours ago with nice & delicious food and all the lovely gifts. It’s a rule that everyone has to bring a gift for the christmas exchange, not only because it’s the festive thing to do but guess it’s also a safety net in case anyone comes empty-handed and miss people out on the joy and fun. Even though it was only about 7 of us at any one time (because some came earlier and left, some who came later and joined made up the numbers again), we certainly made it sound like there were 27 of us. We were practically behaving like a bunch of crazy women, acting silly, exclaiming, shrieking, yakkering, laughing and crying at the same time, waving our fingers wildly, talking all so loudly till our voices went high-pitched and coarsed, and getting excessively excited over anything and everything, on even the smallest thing like striking a pose in front of the camera. The Doremy seemed to have casted some special effects on everyone because by the time we took the second or third sip, we were almost near rolling on the floor and couldn’t stop laughing with no apparent reason. The only thing that could have stopped us was perhaps we laughed too much till no one had the strength to sit straight anymore. It would take more than just pure stamina, plain laughter and sheer energy to go through this episode every year but, gawd! with good fun, good food, good frens, and not forgetting good Doremy, it’s a joy to do it again.
