old man's treasures

duno. no idea. im referring to i duno how many more treasures my dad is keeping from us.
discovered some. today.
actually, i think it's not such a bad idea to give our dad presents now and then, otherwise... read on:

papa's day today. last nite, i went to mustafa centre. yes, indies reside there, but u find some good bargains too.
i didnt intend to get anything for father's day.
sensitive issue. coz mother's day... well, was kind of a screw up.
i was thinking: if i get dad something, but not mum... hmm... ok, better not. drop the idea.
but it was impromptu. i thought the seiko watches looked really nice.
plus my fren was getting one. ya, it sort of pricked me to get something too.
so end up, i spent $109 on getting dad one. simple one with a black watch face.
then it led me to spending another $208 on a gold bracelet for my mum.
now, dun say.
i'm just broke.
bros, pay me hor.

ya, it was cool. dad and mum were excited and gleeful.
who wouldn't? i would too. *grinz*

and this led to another round of discovery.
my old man decided it was time to bring out his treasures... from duno where.

now, two antique watches which he bought about 40 years ago sit in my palms.
actually he said 50 years ago. but kidding. no way. he must have remembered wrongly. he couldn't have bought it when he was still in his teens.
a rolex and a titoni.

cool.

i think father's day seem to have taken a new meaning for me.
