sweet temptation

im still alive! after struggling to survive four dreadful days of trying to adapt to .....

a new life.

i guess humans are still survivers afterall. they've been through hards knocks over millions of years and they evolved in the end anyway.

and since i'm a surviver, for now, i cant help but give myself a pat on the back and made an appointment with my hairstylist.
as the chinese saying goes: cut away the bad luck, good fortune will come.
been 3 months since my last appointment. high time me find a good reason to cut away the bad hair! (nah, dun really need a reason for that.)

also thinking about other rewards for myself:

a book?
- strangers by Taichi Yamada, translated by Wayne P. Lammers

[abstracted frm The Straits Times Urban - 5 May] This unnerving ghost story will keep you turning the pages (whoooo...i like). Harada is a divorced TV scriptwriter who runs into his parents, seemingly alove and looking exactly the same years after they've died.

satisfy a craving?
- they say eating some sweets will boost your moods and spring some life into you. isit? maybe just a tiny bit... starting to drool..

ginger milk pudding -- this new dessert in town has no ice cream, no chocolate, no cake in it but is absolutely delicious! only $6.50.. warm milk is poured over a ginger mixture, and the milk thickens to the consistency of soybean curds.. u spooooon up the smooth, velvety curds and they glide down the throat (sluuurp)... a few minutes later, u feel a comforting warmth in the tummy from the ginger. Ahhhh...

they also got this Chocolate Espuma.. berry-studded jelly topped with choco meringue and a mousse-like dark choco foam.. yummy...

where to find: Bakerzin @ Millenia Walk, One Fullerton, The Paragon, The Atrium @ Orchard and United Square

i feel like swooping down for one! im not a bird lah but hey, anyone wants to join me for a sweet temptation?? =)
