a day without ifs

once again, i found myself asking question like this, yet again: what if there are no ifs in our world of dictionary or words?
i do think our minds are one small but imaginative matter that ever since the start of time, we are so capable of creating hypothetical questions or suggesting possibilities just so as to perhaps, give us a reason to find hope, seek new horizon, and even test the limits of "the system" that conditions the world, our world.
it's so typical of me. i always end up in a monologue on such questions, which is useless and doesnt contribute to or make any difference in my life. but i ask anyway:

what would i be doing if i wasnt asleep now? (which obviously im not.)
i think i would be blogging. (yup, im doing that.)
what if i wasnt blogging?
then surely, i would be thinking of my blog, and thinking it's just a matter of time before i ended up switching on the computer and logging on.
but, if i never started with this blog in the first place?
hmm... i duno. i think i'll most probably be asleep and dreaming away. i think.

if Einstein wasnt such a slow child when he was young?
or if he never did managed to solve the equation: E=mc2
maybe no physics classes. hhahaha...
if Newton never fell asleep under the tree? and not under the apple tree? obviously, he would not have realised the existence of gravity.
what if the world never existed? where will humans live? maybe in another planet.
if i was born in another era or dynasty? maybe i might become the next great philosopher. hahahha... i dun think so.
if my mother never sent me to school? yiacks! thank goodness, she did!
if i had become the opposite sex, what will i be? or who will i like? hmm... worth considering.
if i never opened that packet of crunchy nuts now? then i wouldnt be munching it and fretting later how to shed the calories. but does that mean i wouldnt try to look for other sources of food and fight the hungry stomach?

what if there are no ifs?
maybe u can try to resist a day without using the word "if" when it pops up. see what happens, and tell me how u feel.

so what if i wasnt born to this world? well, nothing happens, i guess. except that u wont be reading this blog, but life still goes on.
