finally arrived

after all my rumblings for such a very long time, i FINALLY bought a new hp yesterday! - my new z610i
whoo hooooo!



and thanks to XY! - almost like the fairy godmother who makes wishes come true! (my wish!) has helped me get this phone from Singtel. luckily for her or i wouldn't have been able to get it at the contract-upgrade price of S$188 and especially not have the colour i like(#).

(#): It took me a while before i could get this phone because my stupid service provider did not carry this blue, which was one of the so-called official "corporate colours" of their logo that their staff had claimed. Besides, they also had the nerves to make a bold advertisement to state the colour on their website during the launch! Of course, the episode pissed me off quite a bit especially when they tried to pull off with a poorly scripted explanation that they "do not have the exclusive rights" to it. Hello? corporate colour? ad on website? Much to my amazement, they only came to realise that after i made an angry phone & online feedback which they responded immediately the next day by haphazard efficiently 'erasing' the wrong colour from the ad! well, that was then, actually a few weeks' ago.
