it's been... i think.. 10 years? since i last stepped onto the grounds
nostalgia hits again.... to be back in the building after sooooooooooooo long
even though everything has changed! (yalah... 10 years, what do u expect?)
ya, the old red bricks no longer there; the small drains, where we used to squat by it to brush our teeth, now gone; and so are the old swings and muddy playgrounds...
*******out of point********
went to listen to a talk by Land Authority Transport (LTA) just now
and they held it there lah
took the chance to go back to the old school grounds and at the same time, hear what the authorities have to say about the latest updates on the MRT Circle Line that they are contructing in front of my block
and they're going to make A LOT of road diversions and shift the now-already-damn-bloody-far-away bus stop to even further away (i dunno how far lah!)
SIGH.... so, in about another month's time....... i will have to start making adjustments to my current lifestyle... yet again, and keep it & get used to it for the next 2-3 years.
......a dread..... but surely, healthier i'm sure i'm on my way to becoming...
> currently, everyday it takes me about 5-7mins to walk from my doorstep to the bus-stop to catch a bus / transport
+ soon, i will be slimmer because, the walk will increase from 5mins to about 10mins at least... and that means, brisk (indeed) walking (or running if i'm very late) every morning will do me real good.
> currently, i always snooze the alarm on my mobile and by the time i drag myself out of bed, it was about half an hr ago when the buzz went off
+ soon, i will be on my way to becoming more disciplined to get up on time, and wake up to a chirpy day, earlier, everyday.
> my mum has always been so diligently making us breakfast every morning... and as late as we might get, we are NEVER allowed to skip that meal (sometimes even forced to eat in front of her so that she see)... which takes up 5mins of the preparation time before i leave the house (dun envy. i've perfected the 5min-gobble-up-your-breakfast skills since n-years ago)
+ soon, i may have to put more effort into practicing harder to shorten that time taken for breakfast or, might as well, find a way to skip it altogether! and i dun even need what slimming pills to burn what extra calories lor!
here's the BIG plan, anyway:

*dakota station, which is going to be the new mrt station.... only to be ready and operational in yr2010 lor.... :(((
