for sale

in actual fact, i’m kinda tired now
perfectly in the mood for one of my stoning sessions
or even better, sleep
but i just wana post something, anything...

christmas is coming, definitely..
as i’ve already begin my counting down... 10, 9, 8 more days to go...
yet i haven’t been quite able to get down (or out) with christmas shopping for presents and gifts until today...
i haven’t finished shopping! it’s just so darn crowded everywhere.
ok, just relax... but no, everything’s happening next week
and this weekend is.... burnt... to help out in the sister gang for a friend’s wedding, that is,
i suddenly feel... i’m gona be in deep shit...
well, maybe not. hopefully not. perhaps i’m just feeling sleepy...
wonder if i will be able to wake up early and still look pretty, or end up becoming my own worse nightmare, appearing dishevelled and grouchy
but that’s all on sunday. phew.

my brother made a confession today
well, not exactly a confession
but it’s a discovery for me
only after more than 15 years
before this, i was definitely deluded.

the confession was made
after he dragged me down to some midnight countdown shopping spree at plaza sing
to get some... well, duno wat, for a dollar
on the condition of buying some products from the electrical departmental store for a total amount of $100
and as usual, end up, wasting my time
simply because he said he hasn’t thought of what to buy for the $100 products
and the queue is too long
so, better not do any impulse buying.
MY GOD. at times like these, i really feel like bashing him. what a pussy! (oops. shhh...)

the confession: he was the one who bought the whole set of super heavy, super thick, super expensive and useless (erm, at least to me) encyclopedia. not my parents. yup, he psychoed them back then to fork out the money and buy. and no joke lor, yes, it was at least a few thousand bucks then.

now? what has happened to them? i mean the books.

they are all sitting in one corner of my room... yes.. MY ROOM, for the longest time i can remember. they basically look brand new on the hard covers and inside, except it has turned so yellow only if u flip the pages. from the look of it, it’s not hard to guess they have been bought for what? nearly 15? maybe close to 20 years now... and of course, it has hardly been touched by any one of us.

all these years, i thought it was my parents who bought it... oh, dear parents... u both have been wronged!!! but now that i realised it’s not! hahhaha..... i shall help u both bring justice to light by throwing them away!! and...and... make some space to allow for other things in my room. :D maybe i could put it up in e-auction to sell... any keen and genuine buyers out there? students? they are definitely going to help u in ur studies! parents? wow, i'm sure this is the ulitmate book for ur lovely kids! how about for christmas?? it's the best gift u can ever get! oh.. it's not that expensive. we can discuss.
