it’s funny how a minute ago you can still be talking to someone
but have arguments and differences the next

nobody said you cant have your own little secrets
nobody said you cant have your own rules
nobody said you have to abandon your set of principles

we all have our little secrets

but there’s always a better way
to tell and to do

it’s all about a game
life is like a game
a game of fun and the not-so-fun
a game of gamble
a game of seeking
a game of knowing and not knowing

if u’re not aware
then here it is
because it takes as much effort for the person to be trying as you to be avoiding
because trying too much and too hard puts a strain on the relationship
because too much arguments can cause a pain

i'm not asking for everything, never have
am i asking too much
i'm not expecting anything to change, u dun have to
changes are a part of life

and if u’re not ready
to open up
to allow people in
to allow them to care
to allow them to alter things

then have it stated in the rules of game
that way, everybody can play by the rules.
